Agreement to These Terms
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
What Cube Is (and Is Not)
Cube provides software tools that help groups operate savings circles by tracking contributions and coordinating transparent payout schedules.
Cube is not a bank, is not a lender, and does not provide interest, credit, financial, or investment advice.
Payouts are handled through user-to-user transfers. When a cycle winner is selected, other members receive reminders to send their contributions directly to the winner using their own Zelle or Venmo accounts. Cube does not hold, process, or transmit funds and is limited to coordinating timing, reminders, and confirmation of payments.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when using the Services.
Accounts and Security
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
You agree to notify Cube immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or use of your account.
Savings Circles, Roles, and Transparency
A. Organizer Responsibilities
Organizers create savings circles and set rules such as contribution amounts, frequency, payout order, and internal expectations. Organizers are responsible for:
Inviting members they trust
Establishing clear rules and timelines
Communicating schedule changes to reduce confusion
B. Member Responsibilities
Members agree to:
Follow the circle’s schedule and rules
Make contributions on time according to the agreed terms
Communicate promptly if issues arise
C. Visibility Within a Circle
To support accountability, members may view contribution and payout statuses within their circle. You should not join a circle if you are not comfortable with this level of transparency.
Payments, Payouts, and Transfer Limitations
Cube does not process, hold, or transmit funds. Payouts occur directly between users through third-party services such as Zelle or Venmo, in accordance with the cycle rules you accept.
Cube is not responsible for failed, delayed, reversed, or disputed transfers, including issues caused by third-party payment platforms, financial institutions, insufficient funds, or incorrect recipient information.
Cube may send reminders, track confirmations, and limit or restrict app features to reduce fraud or enforce circle rules, but Cube does not control or guarantee payment completion.
Fees and Future Pricing
Cube may offer free access during beta or early access periods. If fees are introduced in the future, advance notice will be provided through the app or by email. All fees will be disclosed before you are charged.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the Services for illegal activity, fraud, or money laundering
Impersonate others or provide false or misleading information
Harass, threaten, or exploit other users
Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Services
Use the Services to operate circles that violate applicable laws or third-party rights
Compliance, Verification, and Enforcement
Cube may request identity verification or additional information. We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove circles, or restrict access if we believe that:
Activity is suspicious or fraudulent
You have violated these Terms or applicable circle rules
Action is required for legal, compliance, or risk management reasons
User Content
You may submit text, updates, and other content through the Services. You retain ownership of your content, but grant Cube a license to host, display, and use it solely to operate and provide the Services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you submit.
Third-Party Services
The Services rely on third-party platforms, including Zelle, Venmo, and analytics providers, which operate under their own terms and policies. Cube does not control and is not responsible for third-party outages, payment issues, service interruptions, or failures.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CUBE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
CUBE DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT A SAVINGS CIRCLE WILL SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE, THAT MEMBERS WILL MAKE PAYMENTS, OR THAT PAYOUTS WILL OCCUR ON A SPECIFIC DATE.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CUBE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, and Class Action Waiver
A. Informal Resolution
Before initiating a claim related to the Services, you agree to contact support@cubemoney.io with a description of the issue and the requested resolution. Cube will attempt to resolve disputes informally.
B. Arbitration (If Permitted)
Except for disputes involving third-party payment services or financial institutions, which must be resolved directly with those providers, disputes arising from use of the Services will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court, unless eligible for small claims court.
C. No Class Actions
You agree to bring claims against Cube only on an individual basis and not as part of any class, collective, or representative action.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
Cube may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, notice will be provided. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
